Man arrested for fake writ against in-laws

A man was arrested for creating a fake writ petition against his in-laws, hoping to leave their property in his minor daughter’s name. Charminar police apprehended Karumuri Venkata Ratna Reddy, a resident of Guntur district in AP, and sent him to judicial remand on Friday.

KTR lays foundation stone for 3km flyover

The foundation stone for a 3km-long flyover spanning the Botanical Garden, Kothaguda and Kondapur junction, was laid by Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) minster KT Rama Rao on Friday. A 470-metre underpass is also being constructed at Kothaguda junction to facilitate traffic flow from Allwyn Crossroads towards Gachibowli. The works are being taken up at a cost of ₹263.09 crore to ease traffic allong that stretch.
