Police: 2 drivers hospitalized after 3-car crash in Rochester

Rochester, N.Y.(WHAM) - Two drivers were taken to the hospital Thursday morning after a crash near Frontier Field in downtown Rochester.

Officers said this happened around 6:25 a.m. on Silver Morrie Way and South Plymouth Avenue.

A silver car was driving north on S. Plymouth Avenue near Morrie Silver Way, according to police. The driver ran a red light and crashed into two cars that were driving east on Morrie Silver Way.

The driver of the car that caused the crash was taken to Rochester General Hospital for a "lower body" injury, according to police. The driver was also issued a citation.

Another driver involved in the crash was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after complaining about pain.
