$25,000 reward offered for info. leading to missing Birmingham girl

Crime Stoppers of Alabama announced on Wednesday in a news conference with Birmingham police, that they are offering a $20,000 cash reward for credible information leading to the location of Kamille 'Cupcake' McKinney.

You can call Crime Stoppers and anonymously leave a tip if you know her whereabouts 205-254-7777.

The $20,000 reward is in addition to the $5,000 reward being offered by Gov. Kay Ivey's office for a total $25,000 reward if "Cupcake" McKinney is found.

The criteria for claiming the $20,000 Crime Stoppers reward is information leading to the location of Kamille and it's completely anonymous. While the distribution of the governor's $5,000 reward is dependent on a conviction of who's responsible.

In Wednesday evening's press conference, Birmingham's police chief and mayor spoke directly to whomever has Kamille "Cupcake" McKinney and urged them to safely return her to one of the city's fire stations, police stations or hospitals.

They also discouraged the spreading of false information on social media after false reports and rumors that could hamper the investigation.
