FBI Miami held a press conference about the disappearance of Leila Cavett, a woman who has been missing since July 26 after leaving Alabama.
Since then, authorities said there have been multiple sightings of Cavett in south Florida.

One sighting was at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Vero Beach, another was at a RaceTrac gas station in Hollywood, Florida, and another was as Cavett was getting into an unknown Lexus sedan.
Two of those sightings were only hours apart.
“We believe some people who are familiar with the circumstances surrounding Leila’s disappearance, remain in our community - while some have left the area," said Special Agent in Charge, George Piro.
Cavett's 2-year-old son was found wandering alone near an apartment complex in Miramar, Florida.

Cavett’s family members who have been in town organizing search efforts said Leila has no known connection to Florida.
“Leila’s separation from her son is completely out of character, her family and others in her community are very concerned about her safety and well being. Thanks to our community, Camden is safe and being cared for," said Piro.
