Columbus police searching for murder suspect considered 'armed and dangerous'

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police has been searching for a 19-year-old man who is accused of killing another man over the weekend.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting just before 2 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the 5000 block of Chatterton Road.

Police say the victim, Ahpercy Donaldson, 20, was shot in the parking lot in broad daylight.

During the course of their investigation detectives identified Xavier Jackson as the shooting suspect. A warrant for his arrest has been issued, and he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
