COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Over 150 surplus vehicles are up for grabs.
The Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is auctioning off 157 surplus vehicles on Saturday, Dec. 14.
According to a release from DAS, vehicles are categorized as surplus when they are damaged or at the end of their government-use lifecycle. Vehicles may also have been seized by police.
The auction will be held on Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the DAS General Services Division headquarters located at 4200 Surface Road, Columbus, 43228. Doors open at 8 a.m.
Vehicles may be inspected between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 13. Vehicles may be started only between 8 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Friday.
Vehicles to be actioned can be found on the agency's website here. Some vehicles up for grabs include a 2016 Dodge Charger, a 2014 Jeep Patriot, 2016 GMC Savana 3500 Ext Cargo Van, and many more. All vehicles come "as is" and the agency says it is the consumer's responsibility to research defects and recalls.
