Ohio State Veterinary students host free pet clinic for low-income residents

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Students at Ohio State lent a hand to the community on Saturday, while learning in the process.

Students taking part in the OSU veterinarian program teamed up with "Faithful Forgotten Best Friends" to put together a pet clinic.

Pets were given check-ups and vaccinations for free for low-income owners.

The vaccines will help prevent deadly diseases in their pets.
