An Arizona woman appeared halfway across the country in a Delaware County courtroom to answer to charges that she sent sexual videos, texts, pictures and expensive gifts to a teenager. Michelle St. Louis, 44, pleaded not guilty to two counts of disseminating material harmful to a minor.

St. Louis is the wife of former Cincinnati Bengals player Brad St. Louis, who was with the team for ten years. Investigators said Michelle St. Louis contacted the teenaged boy, who is now 18, via the app TikTok, on which users share short videos.

The mother of the teen spoke with ABC 6 last week and said she questioned her son as to why someone in Arizona was sending him expensive gifts like computers and phones. That’s when she said she discovered explicit videos on her son’s phone.

In court today, St. Louis, gave simple yes-and-no answers to the judge’s questions. Her attorney, however, said she is upset and embarrassed over the incident.

“She’s really upset and she certainly regrets harming her husband in any way,” said Brian Jones. But Jones questioned whether St. Louis contacted the boy or not.

“That I don’t know yet,” he said. Jones said he’d just received the evidence from the case today and needs time to review it.

“We’re going to develop our investigation based on that,” he said.

St. Louis was released on her own recognizance. She has a trial set for April and a pre-trial set for March, but is not required to return to Ohio for the pre-trial.
