Charleston Police searching for suspect in reported domestic violence assault

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston Police Department is searching for Lorenzo Glenn Spann, 36, in connection to a reported domestic violence assault incident.

Officers say the suspect punched the mother of his two children in the face-area with a closed fist, and shoved her to the floor, before leaving the Rutledge Ave. apartment.

He is described as being 5'8", and weighing about 140 pounds. Investigators say the suspect is known to frequent downtown Charleston.
