Romane Clare, the North Charleston man accused of fatally shooting his wife in a domestic violence incident has been extradited back to South Carolina.

North Charleston Police say Clare will go before a magistrate for a bond hearing on Wednesday morning, Oct. 23.

Magistrates cannot set bond on murder charges, so Clare will remain in the Charleston County jail until he can go before a circuit court judge within the next month for bond consideration.

Clare, 33, is accused of shooting his wife, Ebony, in a domestic dispute at their Whitney Drive home on Sept. 26. Ebony Clare later died at a hospital from her injuries.

Clare was arrested by police in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Sept. 29. He had been fighting extradition back to South Carolina.
