NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — British Airways planes won't be flying in or out of Charleston International Airport for several months.
According to the airport on Friday, the airliner suspended service to Charleston for the season running from April through October.
It is not yet known if service will resume in November.
British Airways provided the following statement to ABC News 4:
We regularly evaluate our routes based on where our customers tell us they want to travel. Like other forms of transport we are keeping vital links open - repatriating customers and ensuring key supplies like medicines and food are flown in - and we remain committed to connecting customers across our network as more flights resume.
