A car fire Friday blocked all lanes of Interstate 26 eastbound near the Cosgrove Avenue exit in Charleston.
The incident was reported shortly before noon Friday near mile-marker 216 on I-26 east. Westbound lanes leaving Charleston were not impacted.
A video provided by ABC News 4 viewer Allen Moore showed multiple vehicles are involved in the wreck.
A photo provided by ABC News 4 viewer Jason Cofar showed heavy smoke coming from the involved vehicle as a police officer worked to extinguish the flames.
Charleston Police and Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the wreck, along with an ambulance from Charleston County EMS.
The accident was cleared shortly after 1 p.m.
