Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren was back in South Carolina over the weekend.

The Massachusetts Senator was busy in the Palmetto State first attending the 2019 Presidential Forum on Environmental Justice – “Moving Vulnerable Communities from Surviving to Thriving” on Friday.

The next day, Sen. Warren held a forum on education at Scott’s Branch Middle/High School in Summerton before hosting a town hall event at Goose Creek High School.

In response to her visit, RNC Spokesperson Joe Jackson released the following statement:

“Whether it’s supporting the impeachment witch hunt against President Trump or tax hikes to pay for her elitist plans, South Carolinians will reject Warren's socialist agenda. Warren should instead go back to work on the real issues Americans care about, like securing the border and passing the USMCA.”

Sen. Warren is among a crowded field of candidates seeking the party's nomination in 2020.
