Itanagar: Work for development of state- Bamang Felix

Congratulating the awardees, Felix asked the awardees to work towards contributing for the welfare of society.

Home Minister Bamang Felix on Saturday called upon all stake holders to shoulder their responsibility as a good citizens for all round developed and prosperity of the state.

Home Minister was addressing the felicitation function of meritorious students and PhD awardees on the 13th Annual Felicitation Programme-2019 organised Galo Welfare Society (GWS) here at DK Convention centre on Saturday.

Congratulating the awardees, Felix asked the awardees to work towards contributing for the welfare of society.

He advised them to continue their learning without any break. “With the knowledge you have gain, you should contribute and work for the welfare of society so that we can grow together and set a brighter future for the generation to come,” he said.

He also asked the parents to give their full support to the children who are genuine in learning new things.

“The amount and energy we spend on the younger generation now is not spending but investing for the future to come,” he added.

Prof. Tomo Riba who attended as resource person for the programme said that making the parent happy and proud should be the priority of any child.

“Parents always think first for the betterment of their child, and thus it should be your obligation to make them happy and smile,” he said adding that smile on the face of any parents should define one’s success.

GWS President Marngu Kadu, General Secretary Marcony Potom, GWS (HR & EPC) Chairman Minto Ete among other address the function.

On the occasion, 33 meritorious students and 6 PhD holders were felicitated in the presence of Home Minister Bamang Felix, Retd. Labour Commissioner Morge Ete, RGU Registrar Prof. Tomo Riba other prominent leaders from the welfare, elders, parents and students.
