Deputies investigating crash involving scooter, two cars

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The Palm Beach County Sherriff's Office is investigating a crash involving two vehicles and a motor scooter in West Palm Beach.

The victim on the scooter was crossing Haverhill Rd when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Haverhill and Forest Hills Blvd. As a result of the crash, one of the vehicles was redirected to the northwest corner of the intersection where the victim was crossing, according to authorities.

The victim was thrown from the scooter and is suffering from life-threatening injuries according to the sheriff's office.
