ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) - One chunk of South Pearl Street looked a lot smaller on Monday.

Fans didn't have trouble finding their way to Jonas Brothers Way.

"Everyone was waiting for them to come back," said Gia O'Neil of Albany.

O'Neil and her friends didn't see as big of a crowd at their last Jonas Brothers concert in Albany 10 years ago.

"We've been an hour early to shows and just walked in and sat down. I've never seen it like this," said Chere Castle of Colonie.

Monday's concert was Courtney Lyons' 13th Jonas Brothers concert. She says crowd sizes like this are not uncommon for the group.

"This has been about the crowd level I've seen," said Lyons, of West Springfield.

There were many that arrived hours earlier than they did to get a good spot. Heather Devine says she got in from Boston at noon so she could get in before the rest of this crowd.

"We have the pit so we gotta get in before the whole crowd gets here," Devine said.

Pearl Street was cut off so the foot traffic could flow freely into nearby eateries. The owner of Pizzeria Sapienza says it was one of the biggest crowds she's ever seen.

There were also Albany police on hand to direct traffic. Even with crowds so big, they say it wasn't the first big event they've worked at the Times Union Center.
