Albany Police: Multiple arrests for prostitution, drugs after sting operation

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) Police in Albany say they have made multiple arrests on prostitution and drug charges.

Police say the investigation came about from complaints from local businesses. All arrested were made on July 10th, between 3:00 PM and just before 10:00 PM

Arrested:

Kanetta Louis, 33, of Watervliet was arrested, charged with prostitution and criminal possession of a controlled substance after offering a sex act on a plainclothes officer in exchange for money.

Amber Vogel, 35, of Nassau agreed to perform a sexual act on Jeremy Ackner, 42, of Troy for money. She was charged with prostitution. Acker was charged with patronizing a prostitute and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police say he was in possession of 12.2 grams of powder cocaine.

Ernest Miller, 47, of Albany was charged with prostitution. He was also arrested on an outstanding bench warrant for failure to pay a fine.

Jasmine Holcomb, 40, of Albany, agreed to perform a sexual act for money according to police. Holcomb was charged with prostitution and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Denise Smith, 54, of Albany was charged with prostitution. 43 year old Katherine Brady was also charged with prostitution, say investigators.

Victor Williams, 31, of Albany, was arrested on the 400 block of Livingston Avenue for drug related charged after police he was found to be in possession of 18.1 grams of crack cocaine, 2.1 grams of ecstasy (MDMA) and 13 Alprazolam pills. He was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, one count of Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd and Tampering with Evidence, say police.
