State Police: Paper license plate leads to arrest of Albany man

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) State Police say a traffic stop led to the arrest of an Albany man, accused of Forgery for possessing a fake license plate.

Police say 26-year-old Evan Fernandez was stopped in the area of Grand Street in the city of Albany back on August 17th at around 11:30 PM.

Troopers say the license plate which was printed on paper and placed under a license plate cover.

Fernandez was arrested and issued an appearance ticket.
