A man is now accused of murdering two people in Austin during two separate marijuana sale transactions.

Isaac Jerome Thomas, 23, was arrested last month for the murder of Tony Lamar Huggins.

Now, the Austin Police Department says after speaking with witnesses from Huggins' murder, they learned of his involvement with the death of 26-year-old Joshua Hardesty back in September.

Police said the two victims did not know each other, and it appears both murders were over the sale of marijuana.

Thomas remains in custody at the Bastrop County Jail. The Austin Police Department said more information on both cases will be released later this week.
