Update: Three Flown To Trauma Center After Maryland Crash

Sudlersville, Md. At around 7:45 this morning rescue crews from Kent and Queens Anne County Maryland responded to Dixon Tavern Road for reports of a vehicle crash with entrapment.

While en route crews learned that a crash between a dump truck and a passenger car resulted in three people trapped. One of the patients is reportedly severely injured.

Upon arrival, crews confirmed entrapment and asked for aviation to respond. After evaluating the scene command ordered Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) to respond.

Two patients have been transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore via Trooper 1 (Maryland State Police Aviation)

Trooper 4 is en route to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital.

It’s unclear at this point if all of the patients flown to the trauma centers were all in the passenger vehicle.
