Crews from Christiana Fire and Newark have responded to Route 896 just north of Route 40 for a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.
Command has closed Route 896 nb. Trooper 4 has been directed to land in the nb lanes north of the crash.
The patient is expected to be flown to the Trauma Center.
Update: 4:42 PM Trooper 4 has lifted off, ETA 3 Mins to Trauma Center.
SB Lanes of 896, closed when the helo landed, have been reopened.
