Reports: State Workers Sent Home In Dover As Protest Takes Shape Tuesday

Some state employees have been told to “evacuate” their buildings as a precaution as protesters continue in Dover.

Protesters have been marching on several state buildings since before noon Tuesday.

Some in the group blocked a section of Route 13 after a little after 2:00.

A source familiar with what is being called an “evacuation” says that the Division of Small Business and DNREC buildings have cleared out.

It’s not clear if other buildings have sent their employs home.
