NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV)--16 earthquakes rattled a small Tennessee town over the course of three days according to data from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquakes struck the town of Ridgely in West Tennessee near the Mississippi River.

According to the USGS, the first quake was the strongest, registering as a magnitude 2.1 on Friday. A second 2.1 registered just an hour later with the subsequent earthquakes (aftershocks) registering between 1.1 and 1.5 in magnitude.
15 of the earthquakes took place on Friday and Saturday, with the latest aftershock registering on Sunday.
