NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A passerby captured video of a group of Déjà Vu Strip Club employees giving a homeless woman some much needed supplies this Easter.

“We wanted to make sure somebody feel loved today, on Easter,” said manager OJ Childress.

He says they planned to do something to help the less fortunate on Easter, they just didn't expect someone to take a video.

The club has been in Nashville for 30 years, and he says they're all very blessed

“The city's been kind to us, so we feel like we should reach out to someone less fortunate.”

This exchange happened in front of Heritage Cleaners on West End Avenue.

Fox 17 News spoke with the homeless woman, who said she was very thankful; she said they gave her socks, blankets, some food, and even a little bit of cash.

“The person who shot the video told us "I don't necessarily agree with what Deja Vu does, but they gave this unfortunate woman food, water, etc., and I feel like I should share this with the world."

Childress gets it, he says they usually get mixed reactions because of the bad reputation and the stereotypes that go along with adult establishments, but that's not going to stop them from doing things like this.

“People who know us here in Nashville, I mean, they understand. They know we're good people.”

He says they do acts of service all the time: during Christmas, they gave out about $5,000 worth of toys to kids, and on Thanksgiving helped make meals, among other things throughout the year.

“It's a good feeling to actually make someone's day better. Make them feel loved, appreciated,” Childress said.

He says they have 15 employees at Déjà vu, and these random acts of kindness is something they will all continue to do.
