Detectives bust Nashville meth lab, arrest convicted felons

Two convicted felons face new charges in connection to a Nashville meth lab.

Metro Police detectives executed a search warrant Friday afternoon at a home on Illinois Ave. after receiving complaints of meth use at the home.

Officers reported finding components of a suspected meth lab, .2 grams of cocaine, 3.5 grams of meth, a pistol, and $2,712 cash.


Convicted felons Monica Adkins, 41, and William Tabor, 39, are each charged with felon in possession of a handgun, gun possession during the commission of a felony and possession/manufacture of methamphetamine.

Adkins was convicted of manufacturing meth in 2016 and received a mostly probated sentence, according to police. Tabor has previous convictions for aggravated assault and felony marijuana possession.
