Five teens have been arrested after a lengthy high speed chase through Nashville on Thursday morning.

Hendersonville Police spotted a stolen vehicle near Rockland Rd. and West Main St. in Hendersonville at 4:30 a.m. Police say they tried to stop the vehicle before a "reckless high speed pursuit" through Nashville.

Five people bailed out of the vehicle in the area of Patton Hill Rd. and Village Trail in Nashville. A’Nyia Evans, 18, of Nashville, was taken into custody after a brief foot chase. A short time later, police arrested a 15-year-old boy from Nashville.

As investigators worked with Metro Police to identify the teens that jumped out of the stolen vehicle, a 17-year-old was taken into custody at a Nashville high school. Later in the day, Hendersonville detectives reported finding the other two suspects, a 15-year-old boy from Nashville and a Keontay Martin, 19, of Nashville.

All five teens were charged by Hendersonville Police with theft over $2,500 and evading arrest. Martin will also face additional charges of three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Evans and Martin are being held in the Sumner County Jail. The three minors are being held in the Sumner County Juvenile Detention Center.

Anyone with information on the case has been urged to call Hendersonville Police at 615-264-5303.
