UPDATE: Kentucky State Police said escapee William Casto was located and arrested in Union County on Dec. 7.

Kentucky State Police are searching for an escaped inmate Tuesday night.

KSP says William Casto, 29, of Corydon, Kentucky, jumped the fence of the Restrictive Custody Center at the Webster County Detention Center at around 4:12 p.m. Monday.

Casto was jailed for the offense of theft by unlawful taking over $500 or more but under $10,000.

The escapee is described as a white male with brown hair, blue eyes, standing at 5'6" and weighing 155 lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans with khaki pants underneath and an orange t-shirt with the words Webster County Jail Trustee printed on the back.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Casto is asked to call Kentucky State Police Post 2 at 270-676-3313.
