Possible Snow for Cumberland Plateau

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A small accumulation of snow is possible overnight on the Cumberland Plateau.

A rain/snow mixture will turn to snow early Monday on the plateau, according to the National Weather Service. Less than 1" is expected.

Counties west of the plateau to Nashville could see some drizzle or flurries, but no accumulation.

Temperatures will hover around the freezing mark until about 3 a.m., then climb above freezing after 9 a.m.

Motorists are advised to be cautious on bridges and overpasses, which may become slick.
