Omaha dog to be featured during ESPN's Dog Day

OMAHA, Neb. (FOX42 KPTM) — A local Nebraska dog will be featured during ESPN’s Dog Day, an event that celebrates International Dog Day.

Viewers will have a chance to watch Pixel, a Miniature American Shepherd from Omaha compete during the highlights from the inaugural AKC Agility Premier Cup presented by EEM.

FOX42 met Pixel and her owner, Ami Sheffield back in February after Pixel competed in the Westminister Dog Show and won in the 12" division for Masters Agility.

Pixel will be on ESPN2 on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
