Communities across southcentral Wisconsin have declared snow emergencies ahead of a winter storm expected Tuesday night.

Adams County

Winter Weather advisory from 6 a.m. until midnight Tuesday

Plan on slippery road conditions: The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute

Arlington

Village of Arlington has declared a snow emergency.

No person shall park, place or leave standing any unattended vehicle on any street or alley.

Beloit

Snow emergency from 3 p.m. Tuesday to 3 p.m. Wednesday

Vehicles are prohibited from parking or standing on city streets during a snow emergency.

A man of designated snow emergency areas can be found online.

Blue Mounds

Noon on Tuesday through Wednesday

Any vehicle left on city streets are subject to being ticketed or towed.

All even/odd side parking suspended during this time frame

Clinton

Snow emergency in effect starting 2 p.m. Tuesday through 2 p.m. Wednesday.

No parking allowed on village streets. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot in the 200 block of Mill Street.

Darlington

Officials in Darlington are reminding residents that citations will be issued if sidewalks are not shoveled.

Officials said citations will be issued Tuesday morning to property occupants who have not properly shoveled since the last snowfall.

Fort Atkinson

Snow emergency declared for Wednesday -- 1 a.m. to 1 p.m..

Gays Mills

Second Harvest mobile food pantry has been canceled for Wednesday.

Iowa County

Some Iowa County government agencies may be closed Wednesday. Everyone should call ahead before traveling.

Ixonia

Western Waukesha County Dog Training Club

No morning or evening classes Tuesday

Janesville

Snow emergency in effect Tuesday at 10 p.m.

All parked vehicles must be removed from city streets and public parking lots until snow plowing operations are complete.

No dining sites or home delivered meals Tuesday.

Madison

Snow emergency declared until 7 a.m. Thursday.

Alternate side parking restrictions in effect Tuesday night for the Snow Emergency Zone and all of the city.

People who park their vehicle in the Snow Emergency Zone overnight must follow alternate side parking rules or risk being ticketed or towed.

Madison Hearing Loss Association of America chapter meeting Tuesday night has been canceled.

The Pregnancy Helpline Sharing Center will be closed Tuesday night. It will reopen Saturday.

McFarland

McFarland has prohibited parking on all village streets and roadways starting at 3 p.m. Tuesday and going through 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Monona

Snow emergency declared for 6 p.m. Tuesday until 6 p.m. Wednesday.

During snow emergency, vehicles cannot park on any Monona street.

Portage

Starting at 2 a.m. on Wednesday, parking is prohibited on all signed snow routes.

Starting at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, parking is prohibited on all other streets, except the Central Business District.

In the Central Business District, parking is prohibited from midnight to 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

Vehicle not complying with the parking regulations could be fined or towed.

Sauk City

When there is two or more inches of snow accumulation in 24 hours, snow emergency regulations go into effect, officials said. Details on those regulations can be found online.

Stoughton

Snow emergency in effect Wednesday from midnight to 8 a.m., and remains in effect for three consecutive midnight to 8 a.m. time periods or until it is canceled.

Sun Prairie

Snow emergency starts at 3 p.m. Tuesday and continues through 3 p.m. Wednesday.
