FBI Offers $25,000 Reward in Baltimore Murder
Baltimore, Md (WBFF) The FBI is now offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible in the murder of a 27 year old man.
The killing happened in Baltimore City in August 7, 2018.
The reward comes two years to the day of Bryan McKemy's death.
McKemy was fatally shot after a car pulled into a back alley.
Individuals inside the car began firing at the house where McKemy was working as a contractor.
He was shot multiple times.
It's suspected the intended target was actually the homeowner of the property along the 4500 block of Woodlea Avenue.
While the homeowner did manage to escape on August 7, 2018, he was eventually killed on the streets of Baltimore.
A Fox45 News Operation: Crime & Justice traced the gun used in McKemy's killing.
It had been tied to a series of killings and non-fatal shootings in Baltimore City.
One of those shootings was recorded on a jail call that Fox45 News obtained.
The weapon was finally taken off the street following the arrest of a suspect by the name of David Warren.
Warren, who had been criminally charged in several shootings in Baltimore City, more times than not avoided jail time and/or a conviction.
It wasn't until faced charges in connection to a shooting in Baltimore County Warren was willing to enter a plea deal.
Although police did recover the weapon used in McKemy's murder, the shooter and/or getaway driver have yet to be brought to justice.
McKemy's family is hoping the $25,000 now being offered by the FBI will change that.

“After two years, we have developed several leads, but we need the public’s help in providing us with the final clues to hold his killer or killers responsible and give Bryan’s family the justice that they deserve. We are hoping that this reward money will convince someone to come forward to ensure those responsible will never be in a position to hurt anyone else.”
The FBI has also launched a social media campaign on Facebook and is promoting the reward on billboards throughout the Baltimore area.
