Melanie Naeris hit two solo home runs and threw a six-hitter with 13 strikeouts, two runs (one earned) and two walks for Verona in its 12-2 win against Millburn in Millburn.

Verona (11-13) scored 10 of its 12 runs in the first two innings.

Sinclaire Infusino and Sara Bochicchio recorded two hits and one home run apiece in the victory. Infusino tallied four RBI as Bochicchio managed three of her own.

Samantha Costigan and Savannah Szamborski collected three hits each for Verona.
