ANALYSIS: Northern Burlington found a way to navigate the tough Burlington County Scholastic League Liberty Division schedule this season to the tune of a 7-1 record and division title it had a right to be proud of winning as four teams spent time in the Top 20 this season, including three in the final rankings.

A 10-inning come-from-behind win over Central Jersey Group 2 champion Bordentown in its final division game wrapped up the crown.

Northern Burlington made another deep playoff run but fell to eventual state champion Middletown North, 1-0, in the sectional semifinal to end its hopes of a Central Jersey title.

Haylei Archer led the way again on the hill as well as the plate. She hit six home runs and gave up just 13 earned runs in 82 2/3 innings pitched.
