BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Four people were taken to the hospital Thursday after a two-vehicle accident.
Boise Police believe that the elderly driver of one of the vehicles had a medical incident which caused him to cross the center lane. The passenger of that vehicle has impaired vision and thus could not provide details of the event, police say.
One vehicle tried swerving out of the way but still managed to crash into the passenger side.
Police say one dog was also injured; sustaining multiple fractures.
A power pole was also hit in the crash. Idaho Power responded, but no power outages were reported.
