BOISE, Idaho (CBS 2) — Earlier this year, a downtown Boise apartment building had two fires within two weeks of each other.
The second fire gutted the building, killing a cat.
One witness said at the time that the second, much bigger fire "got pretty big, pretty quick." Fast forward six months and the building, located near 15th and Jefferson street, is still boarded up.
So whatever came about?
Boise Police and Boise Fire says investigators were unable to determine a cause for both fires. An investigation was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecutor's office, but no charges were ever filed.
