Cirque du Soleil is returning to Boise with a new egg-themed performance "OVO."

OVO, meaning "egg" in Portuguese, will feature more than 10 high-level acrobatic acts. ExtraMile Arena will host the performance from February 27 to March 1 in 2020.

Tickets are on sale for Club Cirque members as of Oct. 21, 2019; public on-sale on Oct. 25, 2019.

Cirque du Soleil's description of the show:

"OVO is a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a nonstop riot of energy and movement. When a mysterious egg appears in their midst, the insects are awestruck and intensely curious about this iconic object that represents the enigma and cycles of their lives. It is love at first sight when a gawky, quirky insect arrives in this bustling community and a fabulous ladybug catches his eye -- and the feeling is mutual."

There will be 52 performing artists from 14 countries.

Tickets for the general public will be available starting Oct. 25 at its website. Tickets starting at $33 for adults (subject to change) and $25 for children. Senior, military, student discounts and family four-packs available.
