Heads up! Be prepared for Boise Music Festival traffic, congestion

GARDEN CITY, Idaho (CBS 2) — If your Saturday errands have you in the Garden City area and you're not going to the Boise Music Festival be forwarned.

Tens of thousands of music fans will be descending upon Expo Idaho for the 10th annual Boise Musical Festival.

"Plan ahead for traffic congestion, both entering and leaving Expo Idaho, no matter what time you decide to arrive," Garden City PD said in a release. "We expect lots of people will be milling around in what is already one of the busiest traffic corridors in all of Idaho, so we are asking drivers to be extra careful."

For those attending the music festival, make sure to stay hydrated, wear a hat and sunscreen and make arrangements for a designated driver if you plan to drink.

This year's headliner is Pitbull.
