Boise PD confirms missing 2-year-old safe

BOISE, Idaho (CBS 2) — A 2-year-old Boise boy who went missing early this morning is confirmed to be safe.

Officers say the child was with a caretaker at about 1:30 a.m. when they realized he was gone and believed he had walked out of the home. Officers made contact with the mother two hours later who told police that the boy was with her and that he was OK.

The mother was believed to be driving to Reno, but officers say she drove back to Boise and everyone is safe.
