COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho (CBS 2) — Human remains found near a popular hiking trail in Coeur d'Alene have been tested and could be more than 1,000 years old.
The Coeur d'Alene Police Department says human remains were found at Tubbs Hill near a walking trail. Detectives sent the bones for analysis and experts determined they were between 200 years old and possibly more than 1,000.
The remains are considered "historical" and given the passage of time, CDA police says there's no information about the identity or cause of death.
