Just over 62% of Idaho responded to 2020 Census

Just over 62% of Idaho responded to the 2020 Census, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Responses to the 2020 Census in Idaho havereached 62.6% t with 53.5% responding online.

Current self-response rates nationwide have went over the 60% response rate milestone. And as of May 25, online responses are 9.2 percentage points above Census Bureau projections,

The Census Bureau’s online response rates map shows response rates by state, city, county and census tract.

Dalton Gardens is the city with the highest internet self-response rate at 80.9%. Ada County has the highest internet response rates among Idaho’s 44 counties.

The 10 counties in Idaho with the highest self-response rates are:

  • Ada County 74.3%
  • Gem County 71.7%
  • Canyon County 71.1%
  • Bonneville County 69.6%
  • Payette County 69.5%
  • Nez Perce County 69.0%
  • Franklin County 68.2%
  • Bannock County 66.3%
  • Twin Falls County 65.4%
  • Kootenai County 65.0%
