Man rescued from the New York Canal in Boise

BOISE, Idaho — A man was taken to the hospital Sunday evening after being pulled from the New York canal in Boise.

Boise Fire crews rescued the man, but didn't provide an update on his condition at the time.

Firefighters are now reminding people to stay out of the canals as the banks are steep and the water is very cold.
