It's time to get out those cowboy boots because the Spring Valley Country Music Stomp is almost here.

The big event, featuring ten bands, is happening this weekend (Sept. 14 and 15) at the brand new Eagle Rodeo Grounds.

"First year, we're partnered with the Eagle Rodeo Association, and we're putting on the music festival at the brand new rodeo grounds, and it's a benefit for the Eagle Rodeo Association and the rodeos that they put on," said Keith Hughes, event director.

The event will also include more than 20 vendors, family events, mechanical bull riding, and karaoke.

"I think it's a great thing, we traveled all summer and played a lot of big music fests out of state and out of town, I'm excited to have something here," said Grant Webb, singer for the Grant Webb Band. "We have a great place and the whole summer we were like, 'why don't we have something like this here local?' So I know a lot of people put a lot of time, a lot of work into this. I think it's going to be a great turnout and I hope it just keeps growing every year and we keep doing this."

Tickets are $40 up until the day of the event.

They're $45 at the gate.

The Grant Webb Band is just one of the groups performing at this weekend's event.
