Two inmates back in custody after walking away from East Boise Community Reentry Center

The two inmates are back in custody after they walked away from the East Boise Community Reentry Center.

The Idaho Department of Correction says Ashley Marie Winslow, 32, and Sabrina Padilla Amaya, 31 walked away Tuesday night at about 7:35 p.m.

Amaya was taken into custody overnight and is now being held at the Canyon County jail.

Winslow returned to the reentry center this morning.

East Boise Community Reentry Center houses women who are transitioning into the community after spending time in prison.

Winslow has a criminal record that includes convictions for possession of a controlled substance, eluding a peace officer and grand theft in Canyon County. Winslow was scheduled to be eligible for parole on Sept. 9, 2020. She was scheduled to be released on May 10, 2021.

Amaya has a criminal record that includes a conviction for domestic assault in Canyon County. She has been eligible for parole since Dec. 17, 2019. She was scheduled to be released on May 2, 2022.
