OAKLEY, Idaho (CBS2) — A mature golden eagle was found shot and killed in southern Idaho.

Idaho Fish and Game says the eagle was found dead west of Oakley in Cassia County on Feb. 10. Whoever shot the bird is facing possible state and federal charges.
