A nice warm-up is expected on Memorial Day with daytime highs in the upper 70s and low 80's. Increasing cloud cover is expected this afternoon into the evening hours and light showers are expected to move into the mountain regions overnight into Tuesday.

Moisture streaming in on Tuesday will keep cloud cover over much of the state with lingering mountain showers. Mostly cloud cover is expected in the Treasure Valley but we could see a few showers with the best chance late Tuesday into Wednesday morning.

We clear out Wednesday and will be warming further as high pressure will continue to strengthen over the area. As a result, daytime highs are expected to warm well above average, highs in the Treasure Valley could be in the 90's by Thursday this week. The forecast calls for continued warming into Saturday with highs in the upper 90's Friday and potentially triple-digit temperatures on Saturday. Triple-digit temperatures on Saturday would be a new record for Boise, the current record is 98 degrees set back in 1986. Stay tuned!
