PORTLAND, Ore. – Presidential contender Sen. Cory Booker is expected to make a campaign stop in Portland on Sunday.

Booker will be in the Rose City for a grassroots reception with supporters in the city.

The event is hosted by The Riveter, a group of co-working spaces “built by women, for everyone” at the old Washington High School, which is also home to Revolution Hall.

It is part of The Riveter’s 2020 "We Decide" Initiative, which connects the public to candidates in the Democratic race.

There will be a reception at 7:30 p.m. at The Riveter, which is at 501 SE 14th Avenue.

People must have a ticket to attend, you can RSVP on Booker’s campaign site.

Booker is not the only Democratic candidate to swing through Oregon this summer. Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Entrepreneur Andrew Yang and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee paid visits to Portland recently.
