Deputies investigating threat made against Cascade Junior High School in Turner

TURNER, Ore. — Sheriff’s deputies in Marion County are investigating a threat made on social media believed to be against Cascade Junior High School.

Deputies were made aware of the threat at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says it is working closely with school officials.

It says deputies and police officers with the Turner and Aumsville police departments will be on the school’s campus Friday to provide security.
