Gresham police locate missing 80-year-old man with dementia

UPDATE: Gresham Police Department said Wednesday that Jack Patterson was found and is safe.

GRESHAM, Ore. - Gresham police are asking for the public's help finding a missing 80-year-old man who has dementia.

Police say Jack Patterson was last seen Monday at around 8 p.m. near the 18700 block of Southeast Richey Road.

Patterson is a white man. He is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown and gray balding hair. He was last seen wearing a blue, long-sleeve shirt, baggy blue jeans, and an old pair of dress shoes.

Patterson is driving a white 2004 Buick LeSabre with Oregon license plat CL86433.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts should call 911.
