Gresham Police find missing 13-year-old girl: UPDATE

UPDATE: Police said Monday that they found a missing 13-year-old in downtown Portland.

She was taken to a hospital for treatment as a precaution, Gresham PD said, but is no longer considered missing.

Officers would like to thank everyone who helped in the search and shared this information.

GRESHAM, Ore. (KATU) – Gresham Police officers are asking for help in finding a 13-year-old girl who was last seen in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 10.

Phoenyx left her home near Southwest 33rd and Emerald Avenue at about 4:30 a.m.

Police say she was last seen at about 6 a.m. in the 3800 block of Northeast 82nd Avenue, near Sandy Boulevard.

Gresham Police said she is 5-foot 7-inches tall, weighs 270 pounds, and has dark brown shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a red and white hooded sweatshirt, dark gray sweatpants, and flip flops.

She does not have any cell phone or money, and does not normally use public transportation.

Family members say she is on the autism spectrum at a high-functioning level.
