PORTLAND, Ore. – LOVE is in the Rose City.

The iconic LOVE sculpture, created by artist Robert Indiana, has arrived at the Lewis & Clark College campus and will be on display through Thanksgiving.

The school said four of the sculptures exist, and one of them is on loan to the school from its owner, Robert Zarnigan.

“Everyone is invited to come to campus and take pictures with this immediately identifiable piece of American art,” school spokesperson Roy Kaufmann said. “Visitors are encouraged to visit on weekends, when parking is easier to find on campus.”

Indiana, who best known for his 1960s LOVE series, died of respiratory failure last year at his home in Maine. He was 89.
